What does it mean to hold a hand?

What does it mean to hold a hand? To say I'm sorry? To say those 3 small words? To spend time?

It is possible to go through the motions without an ounce of genuine emotion?

As we walk, hand in hand, following the steps we both agreed to take, where do your true intentions fall?

And so you say those feelings are there, that I am the blind one for not seeing it, for ignoring it. But there was once a day, where you eyes fell a different way. Your hand felt warmer. Your kisses lasted longer. You used to say there was never enough time. Those were the days, where I really felt like you were mine.

6) next class was ACTUALLY interesting

7) seminar was amazing! I loved our speakers! GO UCLA LAB SCHOOL!

its that time of year again. SPRING. when everything is.... happy? blossoming? bright?

I haven't felt like this in a long time. I thought I was past this. This is so "high school". Its that time of year. It's like a curse. How long will it last? When will I ever learn? When will WE ever learn? When is enough...ENOUGH?

not too shabby...

Pretty good. Tried a basic yellow cake with pink and white frosting, topped with a pink pearl. The cupcake wasn't bad. The mini size was adorable and a perfect little bite. It is pretty comparable to Dot's cupcakes. Presentation was cutsie and girlie.

You can't be sad on a day that you eat a cupcake =)

Katsuya:Brentwood

I wasn't so sure if this restaurant would live up to its glamorous, hollywood, name. My doubts were put to rest as they were able to eloquently prepare dishes that I didn't believe could be vamped up. Their salmon was PERFECTION. The crisp, moist, flakiness still lingers in my mouth. I didn't believe teriyaki salmon could reach such a standard. I was quite impressed. The chic interior was appropriate along with its chic presentation of food. The Katsuya roll was also worth every dollar. A lettuce wrap replacing the seaweed of traditional sushi cut rolls, was a GENIUS idea. It's like taking a bite of seafood heaven. Please gentlemen, take your women here. It was delicious.

so maybe im the worst person ever. I guess I haven't been that receptive of other people's feelings. Tonight made me realize how wrong I was. Hope horrible I am. Maybe I should have been better, because it kills me that he felt that way.

A SINGLE MAN

I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into when I decided to watch this movie. Overall, I liked the movie. It was very artsy and thought provoking. Although, I did find it awkward when the male characters kissed, I was a good movie. The hair and make up were inspiring. Julianne Moore's crazy but adorable character is so glamorous/messy, I LOVE IT. The blonde student's fashion. AHH. Can we just go back in time?

.....So looking back. I haven't really posted much this year. yeah, I have a few little paragraphs whenever I was in class or bored or vague sentences...but overall, my blogs haven't had much content. For the last two quarters (Spring and Fall 09) I started to live out things and run with it and took less time to write about it. A good and bad thing, of course. Maybe that what I needed. maybe its brought me to where I am. Hopefuly I can find a balance this year. Maybe I should have taken more time to myself these past few months. But I can't say I regret it, because I definitely don't.


....Looking at my schedule, looks like its going to be hell, but I'm up for the challenge. The pressure makes me work harder. I might even more of a flake this time around, but I know its for the best.

Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it.
